I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. I grew up going to the beach, exploring the canyon behind my house, and playing on my cul-de-sac until the sun went down. My family is extremely important to me and they have inspired me to become who I am today. I graduated from Pepperdine University in Spring 2016.
...as an educator
I have always loved my teachers. However, when my little sister with Down Syndrome first started school, I was able to interact with her special education teachers in a very personal way. Their incredible passion and dedication is what inspired me to pursue a career in education.
...as a traveler
I absolutely love to travel! Hawaii, Spain, and Alaska are a few of my favorite places that I have visited. I absolutely love getting to experience new sights, tastes, and cultures when visiting a new place. I hope to share my love of adventure with my students one day soon.
